We leave the Gorenjska region highway at the exit Vodice or Brnik and continue to drive towards Cerklje and later the cable car Krvavec. We park at the large parking lot by the lower cable car station.
Path description: From the parking lot we continue along the asphalt road to the first left turn, where the signs for Krvavec direct us to the right, onto a gravel road. We continue the path in this direction for a while, then the markings for the mountain lodge Dom na Gospincu direct us left, onto a footpath. We continue along it for a short time, then join a dirt track, which we follow to the left. The diet track ascends and, as it gets higher, turns into a reasonably steep footpath, which leads us past a house and through a forest to a marked crossroad, where the path from Spodnja Kokra joins us.
We continue right along the dirt track towards the Dom na Gospincu lodge. A dirt track of a fairly low incline brings us to the memorial to fallen soldiers. From there, the path has several crossroads in a short time, so follow the markings carefully. The marked path soon leaves the dirt track and begins to rise through a thick forest. Ever steeper, the path brings us to a smaller lookout point, from which we have a view of the cable car to Krvavec. The path then returns to the forest and continues to climb. We may meet a few touring cyclists (there are several in these parts; mostly, they have their own route, but sometimes the path is a single one). When we exit the forest, the path crosses a pasture fence and then brings us to a road, which we follow to the right, to the upper station of the cable car to Krvavec. The Dom na Gospincu mountain lodge is in the immediate vicinity of the station.

From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we take the exit Kranj - vzhod and follow the road in the direction Zgornje Jezersko. At the village Kokra, at road markings between 10,5 and 10km, the road towards Spodnja Kokra splits off to the right (there are also mountain markings by the crossroads). Immediately after the road crosses the river Kokra, we park at the parking lot by the road.
Path description: At the beginning of the parking lot, we notice a marking, which directs us to the footpath, to the right. The path climbs up overgrown stairs, then grows flatter and brings us to a road, which we follow to the right. After a shorter ascent we come to a smaller crossroad, where we continue to the right, following the road a few dozen meters to a collapsing house. By the collapsing house the markings direct us onto a dirt track (the road turns right here), which we only follow for a short time, as the marked path turns to the right and brings us past a cross and to a stream. The path crosses the stream and begins to climb steeper after that. The incline is soon lessened and the ascent is moderate. After a good hour of walking, we come to an unpronounced saddle with a crossroad. We continue right along the dirt track towards the Dom na Gospincu lodge.
