At the foot of Dvorje Hill, surrounded by a park and a small lake, stands Strmol Castle, one of the oldest and best-preserved castles in Slovenia.

Guided tours of Strmol Castle
About
Strmol Castle can only be visited accompanied by a castle guide and with an advance booking.
A guided tour costs €10 per person. Children under 10 accompanied by parents or guardians enter free of charge.
Kindergarten groups: €4 per person (accompanying adults free).
School groups: €6 per person (accompanying adults free).
Groups are limited to a maximum of 20 people, so advance booking is required, by Wednesday for the following week at the latest.

The meeting point is in the courtyard in front of the castle entrance, 5 minutes before the tour starts. Once the presentation has begun, latecomers cannot join the group.
Tours may be cancelled if an event is booked at Strmol Castle at short notice, so we recommend checking the current tour times again before you set off.
