Through the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism, the Slovenian Tourist Board (STO) guides its partners in Slovenian tourism along the path of sustainability with a great sense of responsibility. And, just as the folk saying wisely tells us, “Sweep your own doorstep first”, back in 2008 they began changing the way they operate, leading to the responsible treatment of the environment and nature in Slovenia. In 2021 they built on this successful project, with the aim of extending care for the environment, which begins in the office, to the entire Slovenian tourism industry.
As a green and healthy office, we at the Cerklje Tourism Board act responsibly in 5 areas: waste, energy, water, transport and health.
Our responsible habits matter while we are working in the office, but we have also taken them home with us.
