The Municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem has begun preparing an Integrated Transport Strategy (CPS). Through this project, we aim to plan transport in a comprehensive, long-term way that meets the mobility needs of all residents of and visitors to the municipality, while at the same time reducing traffic, environmental pollution and energy consumption, and lowering costs.
The CPS is a document that, through planning and measures that encourage walking, cycling and the use of public transport, has a significant impact on the lives of the municipality’s residents and visitors.
Implementing the measures set out in the CPS will undoubtedly have a major impact on the lives and mobility of residents, so it is extremely important that as many of them as possible take part in planning it.
In the first phase, we are analysing the current state of transport in the municipality, so we invite you to fill in a survey through which we want to find out your views on sustainable mobility and which transport-related problems you encounter on your everyday journeys.
