Dear Sir or Madam,
As part of the ‘Igraj se z mano’ (Play with Me) International Festival Year, the traditional Bodi umetnik (Be an Artist) – 14th International Art Competition ‘Igraj se z mano’ is taking place. Bodi umetnik is part of a year-long project that includes the ‘Igraj se z mano’ International Art Competition, the ‘Igraj se z mano’ International Cultural and Art Event and the ‘Igraj se z mano’ International Travelling Art Exhibitions. Once the competition has closed, it will be followed by an opening exhibition at the Koroška Gallery of Fine Arts in Slovenj Gradec, and after this central exhibition the children’s artworks will tour numerous different locations in Slovenia and abroad.
We invite you to take part in the art competition with artworks by your pupils; the competition’s two themes are ‘IGRAJ SE Z MANO’ (PLAY WITH ME) and ‘DOBER TEK SLOVENIJA. ZDRAVO UŽIVAJ IN VEČ GIBAJ’ (ENJOY YOUR MEAL, SLOVENIA. EAT HEALTHILY AND MOVE MORE)*

*Through the chosen theme of the Bodi umetnik art competition, we aim, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, to improve the population’s eating and physical activity habits, with the goal of reducing chronic non-communicable diseases. We therefore encourage all of you taking part to let your imagination run free and show creatively what the slogan ‘Dober tek Slovenija. Zdravo uživaj in več gibaj’ (Enjoy Your Meal, Slovenia. Eat Healthily and Move More) means to you. The programme is co-financed by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia and is part of the implementation of the National Programme on Nutrition and Physical Activity for Health 2015–2025, Dober tek Slovenija.
We look forward to your participation, and we also invite you to host the currently selected artworks from the 13th ‘Igraj se z mano’ International Art Competition and help spread the culture of inclusion! To find out more about how you can host the exhibition, read HERE (opens in a new tab).
