Dear lovers of culture, flowers and good company!
On Sunday, 8 September 2024, as part of the Welcome to Autumn (Pozdrav jeseni) municipal celebration in Cerklje na Gorenjskem, we invite you to join a varied cultural event in the marquee below Jenkova lipa (Jenko’s Lime Tree) in Dvorje.
At 16:00 the programme will be opened by France Pestotnik – Podokničar (the Serenader) with the show “Nekoč je bvo, pa spet bo” (Once It Was, and So It Will Be Again), which will bring back memories of the old days. Entry is free, so everyone is welcome!

- KUD Krvavec – Spodnji Brnik
- Dečve from KD Sava Kranj
- Društvo upokojencev Cerklje (Cerklje Pensioners’ Society) and surprise guests! (PSSST – Anton Habjan and the Smolnikar family with Zala, Renata and Robert are coming :) )
- To round off the evening, we will be entertained by the folk-pop trio Štefanci from Adergas and Gavnarji from Cerklje.
Next to the venue there will be an exhibition of paintings by the Cerklje art section and a lace exhibition, with members of the Lastovke group demonstrating their bobbin lace work. The youngest visitors can have fun in the creative workshops and the activity corner run by the Family and Youth Centre. Window boxes of carnations will also be on display by the stage, and you will be able to vote for the most beautiful. The Cerklje Market will be held next to the venue.

Bring your most beautiful window boxes of carnations to the venue under the marquee in Dvorje before the event begins – from 15.00 onwards. Members of the Gorenjski nagelj society will carefully number and display all the boxes, and visitors will be able to vote for the most beautiful. At the end of the event we will announce the three most beautiful boxes, chosen on the basis of visitors’ votes and the decision of a three-member expert panel. Entries can be submitted to info@visitcerklje.si, and members of Društvo kmečkih in podeželskih žena Gorenjski nagelj are helping with the organisation.
