🌟 Have you ever thought about making your own Christmas and New Year decorations? 🌟
WORKSHOP: MAKING FESTIVE CLAY DECORATIONS
Join us at a festive workshop where together we will create unique ceramic Christmas tree ornaments! Under the guidance of experienced potter Nataša Pezdir, you will learn freehand clay-modelling techniques and make beautiful decorations that will add a personal touch to your home or to a gift. You will be able to create a variety of motifs, such as little angels, Christmas trees, stars and bells.
What to expect at the workshop:
• An introduction to the basics of clay modelling
• A demonstration of techniques for making ceramic ornaments
• Choosing and applying colours (engobes) for a festive touch
• Twice-fired, glazed pieces ready to take home
• A relaxed atmosphere full of creativity and fun
• Intergenerational collaboration and socialising
When and where:
Friday, 29 November 2024, from 17.00 to 19.00
TIC Cerklje (Tourist Information Centre) premises in Petrovc House at Krvavška cesta 1B in Cerklje na Gorenjskem
In addition to the workshop, we also invite you to view and buy unique ceramic pieces by our potter, who will be leading the workshop. Each piece is handmade with loving attention to detail and carries a story that you can share with your loved ones, or it may find a place in your own home. On offer will be festive tea and coffee cups, rustic plates and small ceramic artworks such as little angels, pendants and magnets. A special highlight is the range of cups featuring saints, created in collaboration with nine Slovenian painters.
