Exhibitors impressed with their creativity and originality 🎨🌷🐥🐰
On Friday, 22 March 2024, at 17.00, an Easter exhibition opened in the Petrovc House Gallery.
A wonderful cultural programme for the opening was prepared by the Liberius Cultural Club under the direction of Daniela Močnik, who also hosted the programme. To mark Easter, World Poetry Day and the approaching Mothers’ Day, members Minka Škoda, Silva Česen, Nadja Žura and Irena Martinjak performed selected poems by Ljubka Šoli, Tone Kuntner and Ivan Minatti (Nekoga moraš imeti rad – ‘You Must Love Someone’).
With a very special charm, the Andrej Vavken vocal group, led by Irma Močnik, also performed, accompanied by
Damijana Božič Močnik on the Clavinova and violinist Neža Križnar Ristič.
The exhibitors put their unique and extremely interesting creations on display, which attracted many visitors.
The exhibition was organised by the Cerklje Tourism Board, and the cultural programme at the opening was organised by the Liberius Cultural Club.
The exhibitors truly impressed with their creations. Each of them contributed something special:
- Klekljarice Lastovke Cerklje (bobbin lace-makers) – bobbin lace with Easter motifs
- Nataša Pezdir – Unikati Nati – handmade mugs with motifs of saints
- Dragica Pezdir – greeting cards and crocheted baskets
- Darja Pernuš and Tatjana Logar – Easter arrangements and figures made of fabric and other natural materials.
- Polona Bradeško – Easter table arrangements, wreaths and Easter bundles (butarice)
- Ivan Kropivnik – a rattle (raglja), paintings, Easter bundles (butarice) and a rooster
- Mira Gerkman with her grandchildren Manca, Maša, Žiga and Tjaša – a wonderful Easter arrangement of a hen family, beautifully decorated Easter eggs and other creations
- Pavel Korbar – a 60 cm carved wooden statuette depicting Jesus
- Art section of the Cerklje Pensioners’ Society – paintings with Easter motifs and Easter eggs decorated with beautiful painting, hung on branches
- Handicrafts section of the Cerklje Pensioners’ Society – Easter baskets, small cloths and other handmade items
- Maja Cvitanović – Domače čarovnije – Easter bunnies made of fabric and bunny-shaped flower pots
- Ivica Vres – crocheted hens
- Društvo Gorenjski nagelj – arrangements with Easter eggs and spring flowers made of crêpe paper
