When exploring Cerklje na Gorenjskem, choose sustainable ways of getting around. Walking, cycling, public transport and taking the cable car up to Krvavec all reduce traffic pressure, help preserve the natural environment and offer a richer experience of the destination.
Krvavec is not only a ski resort but also a mountain pasture (planina) with extensive grazing land, forests and a sensitive mountain environment. We therefore invite you to take the cable car up to Krvavec and leave your car in the valley. In doing so, you help preserve the natural landscape and reduce the impact of traffic on the mountain environment.
Cerklje na Gorenjskem offers numerous options for getting around sustainably – from public transport and bike rental to hiking trails, e-bikes and organised transport around the Kamnik–Savinja Alps.

DID YOU KNOW?
Transport is one of the largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions in tourism. Choosing to walk, cycle, use public transport or share rides is one of the simplest ways to reduce your impact on the environment.
Simply by taking the cable car up to Krvavec instead of driving to the top, we help reduce traffic pressure and preserve the sensitive mountain environment.
