Pursuant to Articles 10 and 13 of the Ordinance on the Establishment of the Public Institute Zavod za turizem Cerklje (Official Gazette of the Municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Nos 4/2012, 1/2014, 4/2016) and Articles 19 and 20 of the Statute of the Cerklje Tourism Board, and in accordance with the resolution adopted at the 5th session of the Council of the Institute on 29 June 2022, the Council of the Institute invites applications for the post of
DIRECTOR OF THE PUBLIC INSTITUTE
“ZAVOD ZA TURIZEM CERKLJE” (CERKLJE TOURISM BOARD)
A candidate (m/f) may be appointed director of the institute if, in addition to the general conditions laid down by law, they meet the following requirements:
- hold at least a short-cycle higher vocational qualification,
- have at least 5 years of work experience in the field of tourism,
- have organisational skills, as demonstrated by their previous work,
- demonstrate knowledge of two world languages,
- demonstrate the ability to use information technology,
- be a citizen of the Republic of Slovenia,
- must not have been finally convicted of a criminal offence prosecuted ex officio and must not have been sentenced to an unconditional prison sentence of more than six months
- must not have had a final indictment filed against them for an intentional criminal offence prosecuted ex officio,
- meet the other conditions laid down by law.
Candidates must submit a work programme for the 4-year term of office and a vision for the development of tourism in the Municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem.
The employment contract will be concluded for a fixed term, for the 4-year term of office.
Written applications with a CV, a description of previous experience, a work programme and all evidence of meeting the required conditions must be sent no later than 20 days after the publication of the vacancy notice in the newspaper Gorenjski glas.
