At the initiative of the Global Communications Department of the Slovenian Tourist Board (STO), which hosts foreign journalists every month, we at the Cerklje Tourism Board were delighted to join their December winter press tours, which focused on winter experiences and ski centres. The journalists visited the Krvavec ski resort, renowned as one of Slovenia's most popular ski resorts, with excellently groomed slopes and an extensive network of lifts, where they were introduced to the unique experiences the destination offers, thereby helping to promote Slovenia as a top winter destination.
In December, the destination was visited by respected media from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Hungary, including Večernji.hr, 24sata.hr, Roadster.hu, Turizmusonline.hu, Vince Magazine, Klix.ba, Fbl.ba, Nezavisne, Bljesak, Mondo.rs, Nova.rs, Kurir.rs and Sport klub.rs. Some of these media reach more than 2.6 million readers a day on their digital platforms, which represents an exceptional opportunity to raise the profile of Cerklje na Gorenjskem in the region and beyond.
Study trips like these play a key role in promoting Slovenian destinations, as the journalists' personal experiences offer a unique insight into the authenticity and sustainable approach of Slovenian tourism. The articles in their media resulting from these visits will bring Slovenia even closer to international visitors and strengthen the profile of Cerklje na Gorenjskem as a destination offering unforgettable winter experiences and a genuine local experience.
Cerklje na Gorenjskem remains a destination where nature, culture, hospitality and active experiences come together in a story we are happy to share with the whole world.
