Autumn Greeting with Gorenjska Carnations event in Dvorje cancelled due to natural disaster
It is with great sadness that we inform you that, owing to the unexpected natural disaster that has struck our region, the Municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem and the Cerklje Tourism Board have decided to cancel this year’s ‘Autumn Greeting with Gorenjska Carnations’ (Pozdrav jeseni z gorenjskimi nageljni) event, which had been planned to take place in Dvorje from 1 to 3 September.
At this time, many residents are facing difficult challenges, as those in need must be helped and public infrastructure and other key facilities must be restored. In light of these circumstances, we believe that holding a festive event would be inappropriate, as our priority is relief and reconstruction.
Despite the cancellation, we would like to assure you that the event has not been abandoned, but merely postponed until next year, when, together with you, we will create an unforgettable experience in more favourable circumstances.
Thank you for your understanding and support at this difficult time. We hope that we will soon be able to come together again and share happy moments.
