The Cerklje Tourism Board, as organiser and funder, invites families to a fairy-tale experience with music and gnomes
In cooperation with Zavod Škrateljc and Turizem Kuhar, the Cerklje Tourism Board is preparing a family event on Krvavec, which will take place on Sunday, 24 August 2025, at 10.30 at Brunarica Sonček.
The event is being organised by the Cerklje Tourism Board, Zavod Škrateljc and Brunarica Sonček, as we want to offer visitors to Krvavec high-quality, experience-rich content in the summer months as well, aimed above all at families with children.
As part of the event, visitors will be able to watch the original musical fairy tale “O pastirjih in škratih s Krvavca” (Of the Shepherds and Gnomes of Krvavec), performed by the acclaimed creative team of Zavod Škrateljc. The story draws on the traditions of alpine herders and the imaginary world of the gnomes who live high in the mountains.
After the fairy tale there will be a guided tour of the themed Shepherd Gnomes’ Trail. Along the way, the children will receive the Gnome’s Notebook and explore the natural and cultural features of Krvavec together with a guide.
Attendance at the musical fairy tale is free of charge, while there is a fee for the guided tour with the Gnome’s Notebook. The price is €10.50 per child.

With this event we are continuing our mission of reviving and promoting the local natural and cultural heritage of Krvavec. At the same time, we want it to contribute to more evenly spread tourism that also reaches target groups outside the winter months.
