Let’s support LOCAL!
Every second-to-last Saturday of the month, from 9 am to 12 noon, you are welcome at the Cerklje Market in front of Davorin Jenko Primary School.
There you will be able to taste and buy home-made products made by local producers, such as honey products, home-made bread, biscuits, pasta, salami, one-of-a-kind clothing, crocheted items, bobbin lace and much more.
The dates of the upcoming markets are:
- 20 May – World Bee Day – presentation of the educational apiary by the beekeeping club of Davorin Jenko Primary School and PRVA osebna zavarovalnica (insurance company)
- 17 June – demonstration of bobbin lacemaking and presentation of products by the Lastovke Cerklje lacemaking group, and presentation of the Gorenjska.bike sustainable mobility scheme
- 22 July
- 19 August
- 23 September
- 21 October
During the markets you can also join a
FREE TOUR OF CERKLJE with a tourist guide – at 9.30 (meeting point: in front of the primary school). It will last about 1 hour.
