Hop-on Hop-off minibus around the Kamnik–Savinja Alps – sustainable, simple, accessible
Summer 2025 brings a new season of the popular Hop-on Hop-off circular transport service around the Kamnik–Savinja Alps. The service, which links towns, villages and sights between Kamnik, Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Jezersko, Solčava and Luče, will be even more environmentally friendly this year – for the first time, it is running with an electric minibus.
This year’s season runs from 21 June to 14 September. The service operates every day, in one direction in the morning and back in the afternoon, and the timetable includes many popular stops such as Velika Planina, Krvavec, Logarska Dolina, Jezersko, Adergas and Petrovc House in Cerklje.

The electric minibus, which seats up to eight passengers, marks a significant improvement in terms of sustainable mobility. As well as a quieter ride and a smaller carbon footprint, it also offers a better user experience – with online booking and a clear overview of stops and vehicles.
The Hop-on Hop-off project has been developed since 2021 by the Kamnik–Savinja Alps Association in cooperation with municipalities and service providers. This year it is operated by Vizije mobilnosti d.o.o.
The service is not only for tourists – it also invites locals to visit neighbouring places, experience nature without a car and help preserve the fragile alpine environment. It is an example of good practice in sustainable tourism developed in cooperation with the local community.
