The Cerklje Sports Day brought the whole community together. In the morning, the Pod Jenkovo lipo venue (under Jenko’s Lime Tree) filled with recreational athletes, families and supporters, who spent the day in a sporting rhythm and in high spirits. The entire event was coordinated by the Cerklje Tourism Board, which also organised the Cerklje Market (Cerkljanska tržnica) and a supporting programme with performances by Karate klub Cerklje, Plesni studio Špela and AnimaBit center gibanja. The Centre for Sustainable Mobility from Kranj also presented its work to mark European Mobility Week, as did Cerklje Local Library with a library carnival and its mascot, the Blue Dog.
