Brunarica Sonček, a log cabin, stands at Gospinca on Krvavec, right next to the upper station of the cable car. From here, views open up over the Krvavec pastures, the surrounding peaks and the valley. It is a popular stop for hikers and cyclists, and for skiers in winter, and families with children and four-legged companions are also welcome.

The plates are fragrant with home-style and traditional dairy-hut (planšarija) dishes. These include štruklji (rolled dumplings), ričet (barley stew), buckwheat žganci (a traditional crumbled buckwheat dish), soured milk, goulash, home-made sausages, various stews and desserts. Brunarica Sonček also welcomes larger and smaller groups looking for a slightly different kind of get-together – surrounded by nature, with home-made food and a view of Krvavec. By arrangement, the gathering can also be rounded off with a guided outing across the pasture and the surrounding hills. In fine weather it is especially pleasant to sit on the terrace and end the day watching the sunset.
