Strmol Castle

Above a romantic little lake, surrounded by a carefully tended castle park and sheltered by Dvorjanski Hrib hill, stands Strmol Castle, one of the oldest and best-preserved castles in Slovenia. Its unique ambience provides a special backdrop for catered occasions, business meetings, celebrations and other events.

Various castle rooms are available for catered occasions. The main castle dining room seats up to 16 people, the Knights' Hall up to 26 and the wine cellar up to 10, while the piano salon is also available for smaller groups. In fine weather, a served meal or a standing reception for up to 40 people can be arranged on the castle terrace.

Based on your wishes, the kitchen team will prepare a special menu of fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. The carefully prepared dishes are complemented by a selection of wines that rounds off the culinary experience in the unique castle setting.

They also offer various experiences, such as Lord of the Manor for a Weekend and Castle Retreat. Catering and events are available by prior arrangement.
